Healthcare for All#
No one should go bankrupt because they got sick. No one should skip medication because they can’t afford it. Healthcare is a right, not a privilege.
I will fight to ensure every resident of House 22B — and every Minnesotan — has access to affordable, comprehensive care. That means either expanding MinnesotaCare as a true public option or adopting the Minnesota Health Plan, a universal single-payer system designed to:
- Cut costs — Eliminate the administrative waste that drives up premiums and deductibles
- End medical debt — No family should lose their home over a hospital bill
- Guarantee coverage — Regardless of employment, income, or pre-existing conditions
- Protect rural care — Keep clinics and hospitals open in Greater Minnesota communities
- Expand mental health access — Increase funding and reduce wait times for mental health services
The current system forces families to choose between paying for care and paying their bills. That’s not acceptable. I’ll work to build a healthcare system that puts patients first.
