I will fight to reduce the impact of rising costs by lowering the expenses that matter most:

Affordable housing — Invest in housing construction, strengthen renter protections, and expand homeownership programs
Childcare relief — Bring down the cost of childcare so parents don’t have to choose between working and caring for their kids
Lower energy costs — Support programs that reduce utility bills for families and small businesses
Food affordability — Strengthen local food systems and expand access to nutrition assistance
Consumer protections — Crack down on price gouging and predatory lending practices
Fair tax policy — Shift the tax burden off working families and onto those who can afford to pay more
